Changes in the Weather Affect Behavior
Did you know a change in the weather can affect behavior? For example ,a Japanese scientist studied the number of packages and umbrellas left behind on buses and streetcars in Tokyo. He found that passengers were most forgetful on days when the barometer fell. Also, after studying patterns of car accidents in Ontario, the Canadians found that most accidents took place when the barometer fell. Other studies show that a sudden rise in temperature within a low-pressure area can lead to destructive acts, including suicide.
